Hello & Welcome

Hi everyone, my name is Emma, I’ve been involved in the beauty and hairdressing industry for some 20 years now, following successful completion of training by Creative Academy and Nouveau.

Originally starting out from my home studio, 'Studio 12 - Emma Evans' in Hawarden a few years ago, I have recently relocated to a new purpose built salon (1 Hazelwood Crescent, Hawarden) rebranding the business name to suit - Nails & Beauty at No.1. You can still expect the same warm welcome and quality services as before, but now from my newly refurbished salon which I know you will all love!

One thing I've learned about this industry is that it never stands still, it's always evolving - new skills and techniques are constantly being developed and my aim has always been to keep up with the very latest trends.

To ensure that this is achieved I regularly attend courses, covering all the latest beauty treatments, as and when they are perfected and become accessible to me.

I quite simply love the job that I do and my clients can see this - my work is my passion and I believe in constantly striving to always make myself better.

When a client visits my salon I want them to feel comfortable, relaxed and confident in my abilities, with the result that they walk out feeling happy and uplifted.

My motto is "Never Let Anyone Dull Your Sparkle!" and my reward is seeing each client leave my salon with a trail of sparkle behind them!
